We just had our floors done by Floors by Val and Michael was great and knowledgeable; he helped us selct the right flooring for our lifestyle. His team finished our floors in one day granted we only had a little over 450soft but they were professional and the quality of their craftsmanship is amazing. If I had a bigger place I would definitely hire FloorsbyVal again. When I had a question /concern, he was quick to respond and clarify; he was also quick to rectify. My husband came home and loved the finished product. we highly recommend them.

We are so thrilled with how our floors turned out. Michael and his crew did an absolutely beautiful job making 4 different types of wood look cohesive and advised us on the best way to handle finishes, colors, etc. Some of our wood is original to the house and is 100+ years old, they knew exactly how to handle them with the gentle care they needed. Not only was their work stellar, but they were completely reliable and transparent with pricing and what actually needs to be done. Highly recommend them and will absolutely use them again for other projects. If you’re on the fence, go with Floors by Val.

Mike and his team did an amazing job with our wood floors. He was always on time and reachable when we had questions. Very professional staff. They sanded, stained and repaired our entire home. We used Floors By VAL to refinish our hardwood floors in our bedrooms and put in new tile in our kitchen! They did a great job on both! The hardwood floors look like new and the tile transformed the room! They gave us great ideas as well when picking colors! Great service all around!

I am happy with the good job completed by Floors By Val to reinstall tiles for my bathrooms and fireplaces. The project involves multiple technicians from flooring and plumbing, and it’s very well managed and finished efficiently. It was such a pleasure to deal with a professional who understands customer service and delivers top quality work. The floors on my 80 year old house look brand new (better!) We had one glitch, the circuit breakers for the upstairs tripped after the sander was used. Was this a problem? No Way. Immediate response was, if we can't figure it out, our electrician will come take care of whatever the problem is. And that's what happened. I am not sure what was better, the beautifully finished floors or the customer service. Wish I had more floors to redo!

From the moment Michael came to my home for a free estimate, to his responsiveness to my many questions via text (even on weekends), to promptly providing all the paperwork I needed to give to my building management, to his team completing my 1200 sq ft apartment in two days, and more. What a great job his men did. It is perfect. He put down a new floor in the dining room, living room, hallway and vestibule. He also installed another floor for my kitchen. He installed 1/4 round molding around the perimeter . Absolutely perfect. Not a spec of dirt was left. I'll surly be recommending him to anyone I know. Also, the price for the job was very fair.

I recently hired Floors by Val to install porcelain tile in my basement. So glad I found them and very happy with every aspect of the job ! Michael was great to work with in planning the job. Very responsive and helpful in recommendations on how the job should be done. This was a fairly large job ( 1200 square foot area plus a small bathroom). The crew did a great job. Clearly very experienced at flooring. Very meticulous, excellent workmanship, spent a lot of effort making sure everything was leveled perfectly and completed the job on time as committed.
